You can buy the most common container, a Mason 1/2 gallon glass jar package of 6 at Ace Hardware or Tractor Supply, usually. These are under $15 a pack.
Another option are 1 gallon jars. These can be purchased individually for $10 ea on Amazon here.

If you want plastic, you can buy them inexpensively here in bulk orders of 48 or more
